To have child-like faith is an amazing thing! Here at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, we love to watch a little child's faith and their relationship with Jesus blossom and mature starting from an early age. Children are like sponges where they can soak up so much at once. It is the perfect time to have them start being involved in Sunday School where they can learn, explore, and grow in their faith through music, arts and crafts, active learning, and stories. At the start of each year we also have a Preschool blessing during one of our church services and different opportunities to be a part of our church throughout the year. Some examples include being a part of the Christmas program and waving their branches high during the Palm Sunday services. It is never too early to get your children talking about Jesus and pointing them to how much He loves them each and every day!
